Clean Harbors Supervisor Shift in North Las Vegas, Nevada

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to join their safety conscious team in North Las Vegas, NV . You will be part of the antifreeze recycling team to manage/oversee processes and production of antifreeze and will assist with manifests, shipping, training compliance, and oversee operations on the shift.

  • Oversees production of shift.

  • Is the main contact for Production issues.

  • Attends daily meeting & Monthly safety meetings.

  • Manages all aspects of shipping and receiving.

  • Ensures quality of blended product.

  • Ensure all vacation coverage is scheduled.

  • Performs daily inspections.

  • Reviews Operations Shift Reports

  • Helps with Facility Maintenance

  • Reviews FAM

  • Prepares required reports.

  • Collaborates in facility projects.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Hazardous waste, industry or refinery experience preferred

  • 5+ years leadership experinece in a plant or industrial environment preferred

  • 5+ years production experience preferred

  • 1+ Shipping and receiving expereince

  • 1+ years of direct report experience

  • Ability to work nights and weekend as needed

  • Must be able to be on call to include days, nights and weekends.

  • Mechanically inclined (pumps and conveyer belts a plus)

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization written and verbally

  • MS Office Suite – Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Must be able to work 2pm-midnight (shut downs or weekends to fill in)

  • Loading and off loading experinece for tankers or rail preferred
